Admission Requirements

All applicants are required to visit the school for a personal interview with the director of admission. An applicant is encouraged to apply for admission as far in advance of the starting date as possible.

Students must be at least 16 years of age holding High School Diplomas or General Education Development (GED) certificates to be admitted. Students must have attained the age of 17 before applying to take the Kansas Cosmetology Examination.

Each applicant must have a current driver’s license or acceptable I.D., Social Security card and birth certificate.
