OWNERSHIP

American Academy of Cosmetology Inc. was founded in 2005 by owner David Yocum.  It has grown into one of the most respected and progressive cosmetology colleges in the area and is proud of the cosmetologists it has produced. As a private cosmetology college, we offer our students the educational advantages needed to ensure mutual success.

We have held true to our philosophy of professionalism and service to others while allowing each student to realize their full earning and production potential.  We seek to provide the cosmetology industry with graduates who are a credit to their college, their employer and the cosmetology profession.

Cosmetology is a field that offers many different career opportunities.  Our curriculum is designed not only to achieve the technical skills necessary in the cosmetology field but to make our students aware of the part they play in the service to others and to be sensitive and professional to their clients.
